Marguerite est une chanson que nous avons apprise dans le livre "Chants d'Acadie". La gigue est un 6/8 du répertoire de Robert Lavoie. Cet air est connu pour avoir été joué par un violoneux du milieu du 19e siècle surnommé "Chabord"

Marguerite is a song we learned from the book "Chants d'Acadie". The jig is a 6/8 from Robert Lavoie's repertoire. This tune is known to have been played a mid-19th century fiddler nicknamed "Chabord"
