about

The first tune was taught to me by my great-uncle Ira at Fériole LeBlanc. This piece was called "Caper Fey" by English speakers and "Cabar Féigh" in Scotland where it was composed after a battle in which the village was saved by deer antlers. The second piece is part of the 17th century English repertoire and the third comes from an encounter with Jean-Jacques Denis from Gaspésie. (1. La coperfine, 2. King’s jig, 3. Reel J.-J.
